Michigan Walmart Stabbing: 11 Injured, Suspect Faces Terror Charges
A mass stabbing at a Michigan Walmart left 11 injured. Suspect Bradford James Gille faces terrorism and attempted murder charges. Victims aged 29-84 are hospitalized.

Authorities have formally identified the suspect in Saturday's mass stabbing at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan, where 11 people were injured in a brutal and apparently unprovoked attack.
The suspect, 42-year-old Bradford James Gille of Afton, Michigan, is expected to face one count of terrorism and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder, Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea confirmed Sunday.
Shea said Gille has a prior criminal history involving assault and drug offenses. As of now, no clear motive has been established for the attack.
Victims Hospitalized, Ages Range from 29 to 84
According to Munson Healthcare, the largest hospital network in northern Michigan, seven victims are currently in fair condition, while four remain in serious condition. Among those wounded was a Walmart employee. The victims range in age from 29 to 84.
“Over the past 12 hours, we’ve seen encouraging signs of recovery among our patients,” the hospital said in a public update.
The statement went on to commend its medical team, praising their "unwavering commitment and compassion," which it said reflects the resilience of the region's healthcare workers.

Chaos at Walmart: "It Was Like a Scene From a Movie"
The violence erupted when Gille entered the Walmart with a folding knife and began stabbing shoppers at random. Sheriff Shea confirmed the attacker acted alone and was taken into custody within minutes, thanks in part to bystanders who restrained him and assisted victims until emergency services arrived.
A witness, Tiffany DeFell, 36, who was in the parking lot during the attack, told the Associated Press:
“It was really scary. Me and my sister were just freaking out. This is something you see out of the movies. It’s not what you expect to see where you’re living.”
Photos released by the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office showed the folding knife Gille allegedly used during the rampage.
Law Enforcement and Walmart Respond
The FBI is assisting with the ongoing investigation, and Deputy Director Dan Bongino confirmed federal support is active on the ground.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Walmart spokesperson Joe Pennington condemned the violence:
“Violence like this is unacceptable. Our thoughts are with those who were injured, and we’re thankful for the swift action of first responders. We’ll continue working closely with law enforcement as the investigation progresses.”
As the community reels from the shocking attack, authorities are urging patience while they gather more information about what led to this horrific event.
