Dani Dayan, chairman of Yad Vashem, has condemned Tucker Carlson’s podcast, promoted by Elon Musk, as “repugnant Holocaust denial.” The episode featured guest Darryl Cooper, who claimed the Holocaust was an accident and that millions of deaths in Nazi concentration camps were due to Germany’s unpreparedness for war.

On the podcast, guest Darryl Cooper claimed that the Nazis “had no plan” when they placed millions of people into concentration camps, stating that “millions ended up dead there.” He argued that Nazi commanders faced difficulties feeding the prisoners due to food shortages and suggested that they decided to “finish them off quickly” rather than let them starve.

Carlson praised Cooper as “the best and most honest popular historian” in the U.S., while Musk called the episode “very interesting.” Dayan responded sharply, calling their discussion a dangerous and antisemitic conspiracy theory.

Yad Vashem’s criticism highlights growing concerns about Holocaust denial and the spread of antisemitic narratives through high-profile media platforms.
