In a final pitch to voters, former President Donald Trump vowed to usher in a new “golden age” for America if re-elected.

“My message to Americans tonight is simple: we do not have to live this way. We do not have to settle for weakness, incompetence, decline, and decay,” Trump said to supporters in Pittsburgh, Pa.

“Tomorrow, with your vote, we can fix every single problem our country faces — and lead America, and indeed the world, to new heights of glory,” Trump proclaimed, emphasizing that the U.S. would help others but expected appreciation in return.

He pledged to “end inflation,” “stop the invasion of criminals coming across our border,” and “strengthen our military” following what he called the “Harris-Biden administration’s” missteps, including the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“I will restore peace in the world and I will rescue the American dream,” he vowed. “Together, we will begin the four greatest years in the history of our country, and we will launch the most extraordinary economic boom the world has ever seen.”

“This will be the golden age of America,” he added, confident in his vision for the future. Trump aides described the nearly two-hour speech as his “closing message” to voters across the nation.
