While U.S. President Donald Trump's all-out feud with mainstream media goes back many years, it has now broadened to include what are considered to be more right-wing outlets. Trump pulled no punches today (Wednesday) regarding his thoughts concerning Fox News and the Wall Street Journal. His posts on Truth Social savagely attacked the two news outlets, especially Fox News when referring to what he called "Crazy Fox News polls" who got the election wrong and have been, according to Trump, constantly biased against him.

While he considers Fox News anchors to be great, he claims the outlet is "always wrong and negative". He went so far as to say that "MAGA hates Fox News". He was specifically furious over the poll that came out today showing him at only 50% approval regarding border security, when the border is "miraculously perfect". He is referring to the fact that not a single illegal immigrant crossed the border this month, compared to last year at this time, under Joe Biden, when 60,000 entered illegaly.

He then turned his ire at the Wall Street Journal who reported that Trump told his senior advisors that he approved plans for an attack on Iran, but for now held back on their execution "to see if Iran will abandon its nuclear program." According to the report, Trump hopes that by threatening to join Israel's strikes on Iran - he will pressure Tehran to agree to his demands.

The Wall Street Journal stated: "Since his private instructions in the White House Situation Room to the military, Trump has disclosed publicly that an attack is an option. “I have ideas on what to do but I haven’t made a final—I like to make the final decision one second before it’s due,” he told reporters Wednesday.

He lambasted the WSJ saying they have absolutely no idea what his thoughts are concerning Iran. Since his election, the editorial board of the WSJ has been overwhelmingly anti-Trump, especially criticizing him for his infamous tarrif war. One thing the WSJ has surprisingly not learned is that Trump is nothing if not unpredicatable. He has called for annexing Greenland and for taking back the Panama Canal; he was criticised for both but nobody had an inkling as to whether or not he really meant it or just said such things to get reactions and take the temperature out there.
