Trump to GOP Senators: Defund PBS and NPR or No Endorsements
The President posted on social media that he wanted the DOGE-recommended cuts to government spending be passed in full.
President Donald Trump published the following statement on TruthSocial today (Thursday), warning Senators to not waver on defunding PBS and NPR, considered to be far too liberal and biased to truly represent the nation:
"It is very important that all Republicans adhere to my Recissions Bill and, in particular, DEFUND THE CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING (PBS and NPR), which is worse than CNN & MSDNC put together. Any Republican that votes to allow this monstrosity to continue broadcasting will not have my support or Endorsement. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
