In the Bavarian town of Krailling, a 36-year-old man is now standing trial for the murder of his wife, a mother of six, following a brutal domestic violence incident that took place less than two months after the family arrived in Germany.

The suspect, identified in local reports as Danon G., had moved to Germany from Yemen in 2022. In recent weeks, he brought his wife, Hezam S., and her children to join him in Bavaria. The killing occurred on June 15 inside the family’s home, reportedly after the woman expressed her intention to divorce.

According to police sources cited by the Bild newspaper, the man entered the home after one of the children opened the door. Once inside, he allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times in the back and inflicted fatal wounds to her neck. He was later seen running into the street covered in blood.

Hezam S. had contacted police on multiple occasions regarding threats and violent behavior from her husband. Despite a restraining order and a court injunction, the suspect allegedly continued to visit the residence.

At the time of the attack, five of the six children were not present, staying in Munich with the suspect’s brother. The child who let him in has not been identified publicly, and authorities are providing support to the surviving family.

Legal proceedings are underway, and the case has reignited public discussion in Germany about the enforcement of restraining orders and protection for recent migrants facing domestic abuse.
