Maxwell’s Ready to Talk, Trump: “It’s All Bullsh*t.”
Maxwell Offers to Testify on Epstein Network as Trump Slams “Weakling” Supporters

A political firestorm is erupting over new claims that convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is “ready” to testify before Congress about the network surrounding her former partner, Jeffrey Epstein, as President Trump and his allies dismiss the scandal as a fabricated Democratic ploy.
In an exclusive report by the Daily Mail, a source close to Maxwell stated that the former socialite would “gladly testify” if given the chance. “Despite the rumors, Ghislaine was never offered any kind of plea deal,” the source said. “She would welcome the opportunity to tell the American public the truth.” The source also alleged that the government has never contacted her to share what she knows.
Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison sentence, argues she should have been immune from prosecution under Epstein’s controversial 2007 non-prosecution agreement. That deal, widely criticized as a "sweetheart arrangement" allowed Epstein to avoid federal charges in exchange for pleading guilty to minor state-level offenses.
The Department of Justice continues to assert that no "Epstein client list" exists, and has released jail footage it claims supports the official narrative that Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial in a New York federal detention center.
But the controversy refuses to die down.
President Trump reignited tensions on Wednesday with a furious post on Truth Social, where he lashed out at former supporters for, in his words, falling for a new Democratic "hoax."
“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” Trump wrote. “My PAST supporters have bought into this bullshit. They haven’t learned their lesson and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”
He went on to accuse his critics of parroting Democratic talking points. “Let these weaklings do the Democrats’ work,” he added. “I don’t want their support anymore.”
Asked whether Attorney General Pam Bondi would release more Epstein-related material, Trump replied cryptically: “Yeah. Whatever’s credible, she can release… He’s dead, he’s gone. Republicans got duped again.”
Democrats, meanwhile, are seizing on the opportunity to pressure Trump and divide his base. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries stated that the public “deserves the truth,” while Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) reminded reporters that earlier this year AG Bondi acknowledged having a “client list” from the Epstein investigation sitting on her desk.
“The American people are being denied justice,” Lieu said. “This is powerful people protecting powerful people.”
According to Politico, Democratic operatives now view the Epstein case as both a substantive issue and a useful wedge to expose inconsistencies in Trump’s message. “He campaigned on transparency, now he’s burying the truth,” one strategist said.
Maxwell’s apparent willingness to testify adds fuel to the fire. If Congress takes her up on the offer, it could force both parties to confront long-standing suspicions about the extent of Epstein’s network and whether a cover-up has occurred across multiple administrations.
As PJ Media commentator Matt Margolis put it, “The Epstein scandal is no longer just a conspiracy theory, it’s a test of whether truth still matters in American politics.”
