Bibi Said It Out Loud: Gaza Won’t Be Annexed, and Its People Won’t Be Moved

By inviting Arab nations to take control of Gaza, Netanyahu signaled a permanent shift in Israel’s approach - and closed the door on relocation.

Bibi dropped a bombshell that was, in fact, already known. Israel has torpedoed Trump’s relocation plan and decided not to transfer Gaza’s Arabs.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. Anyone who watched Trump’s original statement in February , and Netanyahu’s immediate anxious response, could tell he had no intention of backing the plan. He clearly preferred to keep the Gazans where they are.

Netanyahu admitted as much when he said Israel has no intention of annexing Gaza and that he wants to bring in other Muslim forces to govern it.

This is what the public needs to understand.

No, this isn’t a manipulation of public opinion. No one goes on the home channel of the U.S. president to pull a stunt like that. No, this isn’t about buying time, you don’t invite Arab nations into Gaza unless you’re serious about it. And no, this isn’t about making excuses or laying the groundwork for a military operation.

Netanyahu is most likely sending a message to Smotrich and Ben-Gvir: this is the public-facing statement that needs to be made. But in practice, the fact that he said it on Fox News, says it all.

It effectively announces that what was said there is what will actually happen.

Gaza will likely continue to bleed just as it has for the past 77 years.
