Putin’s Secret Son Exposed: Rare Photos Shock Russia
An anti-Kremlin Telegram channel published rare images allegedly showing Vladimir Putin’s 10-year-old son Ivan, claimed to be born to Alina Kabaeva, living in isolation in Putin’s palaces. The revelations highlight Putin’s secretive personal life, with unconfirmed reports of another son and persistent Kremlin denials of his relationship with Kabaeva.

Yesterday, the anti-Kremlin Telegram channel VChK-OGPU released new photos and videos purportedly showing Ivan, the 10-year-old alleged son of Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, 42. The images, captured at a gymnastics event in Valdai in June 2025, depict Ivan training with a group under Kabaeva’s supervision.
VChK-OGPU, which first revealed Ivan’s existence in April 2025, described him as “the loneliest child in Russia,” claiming he lives in isolation behind the fortified walls of Putin’s luxurious palaces in Valdai and Sochi. Kabaeva, a celebrated rhythmic gymnast with a gold medal from Athens 2004, runs a prestigious gymnastics academy in Sochi and conducts training in Valdai, both locations housing Putin’s sprawling estates. The channel noted that Ivan, reportedly born in Switzerland, has not appeared at large public events since 2023, though he remains active in his gymnastics group.
The Telegram channel also alleged that Ivan has a younger brother, Vladimir Jr., aged five, whose images have not been released. Despite persistent Kremlin denials of any romantic link between Putin, 72, and Kabaeva, independent Russian journalists have claimed the pair share two sons, raised in secrecy under tight security by Russia’s Federal Protective Service (FSO). “They live behind the walls of Putin’s most secure palace, with minimal contact with other children,” a VChK-OGPU post stated.
Putin, who fiercely guards his private life, has never acknowledged this alleged family. He is known to have two adult daughters, Maria Vorontsova, 40, and Katerina Tikhonova, 38, from his marriage to Lyudmila Putina, as well as a reported secret daughter, Yekaterina Krivonogikh, 22, from a past relationship with Svetlana Krivonogikh, 50. Social media posts on X expressed intrigue, with one user noting, “Ivan’s resemblance to young Putin is uncanny.” The revelations, coupled with VChK-OGPU’s recent ban from Telegram, reportedly at Kremlin behest, underscore the risks of exposing Putin’s personal life amid his ongoing suppression of dissent.
