Abed Saadi, a volunteer MDA medic and a neighbor, arrived first at the scene of the massacre in Basmat Tivon, and in a conversation with the reporter Yair Amar, he tells about the sights of the difficult scene:

"I arrived at the place, I saw people in the arena on the garden floor. Five were there with no signs of life. Three teenagers, a man about 55 years old and another woman about 50 years old. In addition to them, another man about 55 years old is seriously injured.

We managed to help a seriously injured man, take him out with an ambulance, and evacuate him to the hospital."

what are you doing in the arena?

"When I see a lifeless person, what can I do for him? This is a very difficult event, which has never happened in this village and we hope it will not happen. It's very hard for me, when I get shots in front of my face it's hard."

Are you afraid in the village today?

We are all afraid today in the village."
