In a story that has shocked America, a 33-year-old Pennsylvania man told a courtroom that he shot, decapitated, and broadcast his father's beheading on YouTube, all because he believed his dad was standing in the way of his destiny to become “the next Donald Trump.”

Justin D. Mohn, a self-described “truth warrior” and conspiracy vlogger, took the stand this week in Bucks County, recounting in chilling detail how he executed his 68-year-old father, Michael Mohn, during what he bizarrely described as a “citizen’s arrest.”

“I unfortunately had to use deadly force,” he said flatly. “My father tried to take my gun. I had no choice.”

Mohn, wearing a gray jumpsuit and an eerie calm, said that after the shooting, he filmed himself with his father’s severed head and uploaded the footage to YouTube, knowing it would go viral. He called it his “Plan B” for gaining a following if his political career didn’t take off fast enough.

“I’m Destined for More”

Mohn claimed his father, a respected civil engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, was part of what he called the “leftist system” trying to silence him.

“He didn’t believe in me,” Mohn told the court. “He didn’t want me to become what I know I’m meant to be: a leader, a truth-teller, a Trump-like force.”

The two reportedly had years of political disagreements. Friends say Mohn became increasingly radicalized after the 2020 election and frequently ranted about “deep state agendas” and “globalist mind control” on now-deleted YouTube and Rumble channels.

Family in Ruins

Mohn’s mother, Denice, broke down in tears as her son recounted the horrific killing. He showed no remorse. Prosecutors allege that Mohn ambushed his father in their home, fatally shot him in the head, and used a hunting knife to carry out the beheading. He then set up a camera in his garage and filmed a bizarre monologue, displaying the head while discussing political prophecy, censorship, and his plans to “wake up the American people.”

The grisly footage remained live for hours on YouTube before being removed for violating content guidelines.

“This Was No Psychotic Break”

Prosecutors are not arguing insanity.

“This was not a psychotic break,” said lead prosecutor Dana Weiss. “This was cold, premeditated murder, performed for clicks, power, and infamy.”

Mohn denies murder. He claims he acted in “self-defense” under Pennsylvania’s citizen’s arrest statute and says he “documented everything for transparency.”
