Get ready for Mayor Zohran Mamdani
The socialist terrorist sympathizer is set to win comfortably this coming election unless the three opponents can agree on a single opponent for the man - a very unlikely scenario.

[With apologies to Michael Moore. Sort of.]
I don't like being the bearer of bad news, but I have no choice tonight: Barring two out of his three opponents dying and New York City coming to its senses, Zohran Mamdani is going to be New York City's next mayor, and will probably win reelection, too.
Say it, because we're going to be saying it a lot: Mayor Mamdani.
Yes, this woke hipster communist who just asks questions about terrorists from 9/11 to today, who cannot bring himself to condemn things like "globalize the Intifada" and whose Twitter feed is just one long stereotype of progressive hatreds, resentments, and stupid ideas is going to be the mayor of one of America's greatest and most storied cities.
Why?
One reason is the poor quality of his opponents: A despised sitting mayor, a despised sitting governor, and a throwback to the crime wave era who couldn't get himself elected dogcatcher if he tried.
These three know the math is not on their side, deep down. They know that the only shot of stopping Mamdani is two stepping down, one running full throttle against the crazy, woke socialist.
But they can't do it. Because just like in the 2016 GOP primary against Trump, they all think it's their turn, they all can't set their egos aside, and they can't let go of their own vanity for the sake of anything.
Even setting that aside, Mamdani is a force to be reckoned with simply because he has the vibes on his side. All most people know about him is he's a smiling young guy promising something new and fresh, and who has focused relentlessly on bringing down the cost of living in an insanely expensive city.
The fact that his ideas are looney-tunes matters not to a lot of people fed up with useless status-quo-ism for its own sake, and an establishment many revile as useless and full of it.
Sound familiar? This is precisely the same tune sung by those who chose Trump in primary after primary that fateful year. We want change, we want to blow things up, he has the right enemies. So, too, for Mamdani.
Accusations of antisemitism, of stanning commies, &c? I assure you no-one cares and no-one is listening. At least, not enough people.
Mamdani might have been stoppable in the Democratic primary if Andrew Cuomo didn't feel entitled to the spot simply because of his dad or if the moderate urban Democratic establishment had any worthwhile and attractive people left for its big cities.
But all that's water under the Hudson. When November 6 comes and goes, remember you heard it here first: Mamdani is going to win.
