Tennis player Guy Sasson won a bronze medal last night (Thursday) after defeating Turkish player Ahmet Kaplan in 3 sets.

At the beginning of the match, Sasson fell behind, losing the first set 7:5, and in the second set, his Turkish opponent gained a 4:1 advantage.

However, he later changed the direction of the game by scoring 5 consecutive points, which led him to victory in the set with a score of 6:4. The third set continued his momentum, with Sasson eventually winning 6:1 and securing the bronze medal.

This is the first time Israel has won a medal in wheelchair tennis since 2012, when Noam Gershony won a gold medal in London. It is also Israel's ninth medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
