IDF Reveals Footage: Surgical Strike Hits Terror Position
Shin Bet intelligence led to precise strikes on Islamic Jihad operatives and terror infrastructure across the Strip.
The IDF on Tuesday released aerial footage of a precision strike that destroyed a building in Gaza from which mortars had been fired at Israeli troops operating on the ground.
According to the military, the operation was part of ongoing, intensive combat missions involving the IDF, the Israeli Air Force, and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), aimed at dismantling terror infrastructure and eliminating operatives targeting Israel.
On Monday, Israeli Air Force aircraft, guided by targeted Shin Bet intelligence, struck several Islamic Jihad operatives in the Deir al-Balah area of central Gaza.
Meanwhile, in western Khan Younis, troops from the IDF’s 188th Armored Brigade Combat Team, operating under Division 36, destroyed the mortar-launch site. The precision airstrike leveled the structure completely.
In northern and central Gaza, combat teams from the IDF’s 7th Armored Brigade and Nahal Brigade, operating under Division 99, located and eliminated terrorists and struck additional terror infrastructure.
The IDF and Shin Bet stressed that operations against terror groups in Gaza will continue “relentlessly” to prevent attacks on Israeli forces and civilians.
