Taylor Kitsch Leads High-Stakes CIA Thriller in ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ | WATCH
Prime Video's action-packed origin story dives into the shadowy transition from Navy SEAL to CIA operative, with Chris Pratt returning in a key role.

Taylor Kitsch steps back into military boots for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, Prime Video’s high-octane prequel to the original action thriller starring Chris Pratt. The new series explores the early transformation of Ben Edwards, a Navy SEAL turned elite CIA Special Operations agent, in a world where warfare extends far beyond the battlefield.
Kitsch headlines alongside returning star Chris Pratt, reprising his role as James Reece, with a cast that also includes Tom Hopper, Luke Hemsworth, Robert Wisdom, Dar Salim, Rona-Lee Shimon, Shiraz Tzarfati, and Jared Shaw.
Created by The Terminal List author and former SEAL Jack Carr with showrunner David DiGilio, Dark Wolf leans into the psychological toll of clandestine warfare. “Men like us: protectors, defenders, sentinels, you’re either in the fight, or you’re thinking about it,” says Robert Wisdom’s character Jed Haverford in the trailer, hinting at the emotional stakes beneath the surface-level action.
The series, executive produced by Kitsch, Pratt, Carr, DiGilio, Antoine Fuqua, and others, begins streaming on August 27 with the first three episodes. New episodes will roll out weekly until the September 24 season finale, reaching audiences in more than 240 countries.
Dark Wolf deepens the universe introduced in the original Terminal List, which followed James Reece as he uncovered a government conspiracy after the ambush of his entire SEAL team. The gritty drama continues the franchise’s themes of loyalty, betrayal, and survival in a morally ambiguous world shaped by covert operations and personal vendettas.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with MRC and Civic Center Media, Dark Wolf promises an adrenaline-fueled ride into the darker corners of global espionage, where not all heroes wear uniforms, and not all enemies wear badges.
