Israeli Singer David D’Or Attacked Onstage in Warsaw by Antisemitic Protester
Israeli performer David D'Or faced an antisemitic attack during a Warsaw concert when a protester threw red paint at him while shouting "Free Palestine."

A serious antisemitic incident shook a music festival in Warsaw last night when Israeli singer David D’Or was attacked onstage by a protester. As he began his performance, a woman in the audience hurled red paint at him while shouting “Free Palestine.”
The crowd, stunned and frightened, reacted with gasps and even tears, witnesses said. Security quickly removed the protester from the venue, but the disruption cast a heavy shadow over the concert.
This morning, D’Or released his first public response in a video statement:
“I am proud to be Israeli, proud to be Jewish,” he declared, vowing not to let the attack silence him.
Despite the shock, D’Or chose to continue his performance. He described gathering his composure onstage and encouraging the audience to join him in a moment of unity:
“I asked everyone to close their eyes and pray for the people of Israel. My eyes were filled with tears of pain and sadness over what we’ve come to, but in the end, the crowd sang with me. We left strengthened.”
He also revealed that his violinist initially panicked, fearing the liquid thrown at them might be acid.
“We managed to calm her down, and she returned to play,” D’Or said. “These are terrible days. May God have mercy. I pray for better times.”
The incident came just two days after D’Or had expressed how welcome he felt performing in Poland, a country he described as supportive of Israel.
“In the madness that the world is going through, I find great comfort in music,” he wrote.
