Shocking Antisemitic Attack at Dutch Vacation Resort, 2 Israelis Hospitalized
Two Israeli tourists were hospitalized after a violent attack at a Dutch vacation resort, allegedly sparked by pro-Palestinian activists targeting “Zionists” on social media.

Two Israeli tourists were hospitalized last night (Thursday) after a violent attack at Center Parcs De Kempervennen, a vacation resort in Westerhoven, Netherlands. The assault targeted a family of five, sparked by pro-Palestinian activists circulating their images on social media.
A few days before the attack, pro-Palestinian activists had posted a secretly filmed video on Instagram and other social media platforms. The montage showed Israeli families on vacation, including children, accompanied by hostile messages: “We see them, Zionists are not welcome in the Netherlands,” read one message in English, as reported by JeanMarcMorandini.
The Instagram account of the group “Students for Justice in Palestine – Amsterdam” shared these images, urging its followers to report the presence of Israeli tourists in the country.
The video also accused Israel of crimes in Gaza, stating: “Zionists travel visa-free in the European Union while children die.”
Several internet users responded to the call by sending additional videos of Israelis staying in the Netherlands.
The CIDI (Center for Information and Documentation on Israel in the Netherlands) strongly condemned these posts and filed a complaint for incitement to hatred and violence.
The two injured family members were rushed to a hospital in Eindhoven for treatment. Dutch police detained one suspect, with additional perpetrators believed to be involved, and are investigating the incident. Center Parcs is also probing the related social media activity.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attack, stating on X: "Once again, Israelis are targeted in the Netherlands. We urge the Dutch government to act decisively to prevent such attacks, locate the perpetrators, and bring them to justice." The Israeli Embassy in The Hague is addressing the incident.
Official Statement from the Embassy of Israel in the Netherlands
"On Thursday evening, a family of Israeli tourists at Center Parcs De Kempervennen was violently attacked after being recognized as Israelis by other visitors at the resort. Two victims required hospital treatment.
The incident is under investigation by the local police. The Embassy of Israel in the Netherlands has been informed that one suspect has been arrested, and it is believed that multiple perpetrators were involved.
Earlier this week, a local pro-Palestinian group filmed Israeli tourists at another vacation resort in the Netherlands and called for action against them. This occurred just days after the entrance to the Israeli Embassy was vandalized and defaced.
This is not the first time Israelis visiting the Netherlands have been attacked. The series of violent incidents is deeply alarming.
We expect Dutch authorities to take all necessary measures to protect Israelis and Jews in the Netherlands. Intimidation and violence against individuals because of their background is completely unacceptable."
This attack follows a pattern of antisemitic incidents in the Netherlands, including the November 2024 violence against Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer fans in Amsterdam, widely condemned as antisemitic by Dutch and international leaders.
