Israel is stepping up to protect the Druze being massacred and tortured in Syria, as sectarian violence escalates.

Kan Reshet Bet featured a Druze man from Sweida saying that Julani's forces raped and then beheaded a 5 year old in front of her parents. He added, "It's the same horrors that were done to jews on October 7th. They are bloodthirsty, they love murdering. They shave Druze Sheik's mustaches, which we only saw during the Holocaust. They have declared a Jihad on the Druze."

Despite a report by Axios around 11:00 p.m. claiming that the United States requested Israel halt its strikes on Syrian military forces—and that Israel had agreed—Syrian media outlets, both pro- and anti-regime, are reporting that Israeli fighter jets and drones carried out a series of more than ten strikes overnight against Syrian regime forces and their allies.

The strikes began around 12:30 a.m. and lasted for approximately an hour to an hour and a half.

Israel is reportedly striking Syrian regime targets today and has threatened to escalate attacks if the slaughter of Druze continues.

Netanyahu’s testimony was halted due to the escalating violence in Syria, and the Druze currently massing on the Golan Heights.

The IDF confirmed that it carried out a precision airstrike targeting the entrance gate of the Syrian regime’s military headquarters compound in the Damascus area.

The strike comes amid mounting reports of atrocities committed by regime forces and affiliated militias against Druze civilians in southern Syria. An IDF spokesperson said the military is closely monitoring the situation and is operating in coordination with Israel’s political leadership.

“In response to the ongoing violence against Druze civilians, the IDF has been conducting targeted operations in the region and remains prepared for a range of scenarios,” the statement said.
