IDF Spokesperson announced, "A short while ago, the IDF struck several tanks in the area between Al-Sijin and Samia in southern Syria."

Amit Segal reports, "A security source says Syrian tanks crossed the boundary defined by Israel — fighter jets were dispatched to strike them."

Hallen Bitton-Rosen adds:

The strikes were carried out by drones and fighter jets. They followed intelligence reports of tank movements suspected to be advancing toward a Druze-populated region. The operation aimed to neutralize the tanks and secure the surrounding area from hostile forces.

According to Open Source Intel on X, "The strike is intended to protect the Druze in al-Suwayda from further attacks by Islamist forces aligned with Al-Sharaa’s government. "

Meanwhile, Islamists are sending rockets on trucks to Suwayda.

Further details are expected as the situation develops.
