In a dramatic operation in central Hebron, armed operatives from Gideon Unit 33 of Lahav 433, in coordination with the IDF’s Judea Brigade and under the guidance of Shin Bet intelligence, arrested a long-sought Fatah-Tanzim operative responsible for a recent shooting attack in the southern Hebron Hills.

The suspect, considered armed and dangerous, was tracked down during a special tactical operation in the heart of the city. Footage from the scene, titled “The Customers at the Bank,” shows the operative entering a bank and leaving in handcuffs, underlining the precision and decisiveness of the security forces.

Authorities emphasized that the suspect had been wanted for several years for his involvement in terrorist activities. Thanks to close coordination between Israel Police, IDF units, and Shin Bet, he was detained before he could flee or inflict further harm.

The detainee has been transferred to Shin Bet for interrogation to determine his role in the shooting attack and to investigate potential plans for additional operations.

The operation reflects the ongoing commitment of Israeli security forces to neutralize threats and maintain public safety in volatile areas, demonstrating rapid and coordinated responses to active terrorist threats.
