Houthis Fire Missile At Israel

The IDF officially detected a missile launch from Yemen.

The IDF just released the following statement tonight (Monday):

"Initial report - The IDF has identified the launch of a missile from Yemen toward Israeli territory, aerial defense systems are operating to intercept the threat.

"The public is requested to follow the Home Front Command’s defensive guidelines."

Sirens are expected to be triggered in the Jerusalem and central Israel areas.

The IDF has released the following statement:

"Initial report - Sirens sounded in several areas in Israel following a projectile that was launched from Yemen. The details are under review."

The IDF is reportedly trying to intercept the missile (see video below).

The IDF just released another statement:

"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IAF.

"Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol."

Magen David Adom reports no hits or injuries from the Houthi missile or shrapnel related to its interception.

Home Front Command has now updated that the missile event has ended.
