IDF intercepts Houthi drone just after Independence Day
The IDF reported that it intercepted a drone fired from Yemen at Israel, the latest in a series of thus far failed attacks.

The IDF reports that it intercepted a drone fired at Israel from Yemen a short time ago today (Friday), the latest such attempt to fire a missile or drone at Israeli territory. According to the IDF, no alarm was activated based on policy.
While the United States continues to strike Houthi targets hard since they began operations almost two months ago, the Houthis remain defiant in their intention to keep the Red Sea closed and Israel on edge until Israel removes all restrictions on the Gaza Strip.
The United States is reportedly preparing to support a local ground incursion against the Houthis, but it is unclear if and when such an offensive will be launched.
