According to reports, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir attacked the recent publications and briefings against him: "How does this look? Why are you attacking me? Why are you briefing against me in the middle of a war? And why is your son writing against me?"
The Prime Minister also responded sharply to publications about briefings by the Chief of Staff that he might resign: "Don't threaten the media with resignation. I don't accept that you keep saying that if we don't accept your plans - you'll leave."
Netanyahu dismissed his son Yair's words, presenting them as the words of an independent person: "My son is 33 years old, he's an adult."
