IDF Completes Surprise Readiness Exercise | WATCH
IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir held a surprise exercise to test the army's readiness to deal with a sudden, multi-arena conflict.

The IDF released the following statement today (Sunday):
"Under the direction of the Chief of General Staff, Major General Eyal Zamir, the IDF completed today (Sunday) a surprise exercise called "Dawn Rising," which was conducted from the Supreme Command post in the Kirya.
"All branches of the IDF participated in the exercise - the Air Force, Navy, and regional commands, which operated in coordination and cooperation to deal with multi-arena scenarios.
"The Chief of Staff conducted a situational assessment with the commanders and managed the deployment of forces. At the conclusion of the exercise, procedures were refined, including in the areas of allocations, air defense deployment, and response times, in accordance with combat lessons from the October 7th events and initial insights from the exercise."
