The Secret Influence That May Have Triggered the Charlie Kirk Assassination

A relative of the 22-year-old roommate of Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the assassination of Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk, has alleged that the individual in a romantic relationship with Robinson held strong anti-conservative and anti-Christian views and may have influenced the suspect's actions. The roommate has not been charged in the case and is reportedly cooperating with federal authorities.
According to a family member who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the individual, who is in a romantic relationship with Robinson and is in the process of transitioning from male to female, became increasingly "radicalized" over the past year.
Roommate Cooperating With FBI
Despite the claims from the relative, an FBI official told Fox News Digital that the roommate has been "extremely cooperative" with the investigation. The individual reportedly told authorities that they "had no idea" about Robinson's alleged plans to assassinate Kirk. The two shared an apartment in St. George, Utah, where both of their families reside.
Claims of Political Radicalization
The anonymous relative stated that the roommate "hates conservatives and Christians" and had become "very angry" over the last one to two years. The relative suspects that Robinson's own political views were influenced by the roommate during the year they dated.
"My gut tells me [the roommate] did more of the influencing," the relative said.
The family member added that they "want justice to be served" for whoever was involved in the crime. It was Robinson’s father who recognized his son from surveillance footage released by the FBI and turned him in to authorities.
