The Global and American left, including the ideologies that fuel it, whether transgenderism, Islam, Arab post-colonialism, Black post-colonialism, feminism, or classical communism, is based on ideologies of struggle, in which only the ‘’enemy’s’’ defeat constitutes victory.

Unlike liberalism, Leftism does not view the world as composed of individuals, but first and foremost as groups that are positioned in a constant state of strife.

While real or classical liberals, may acknowledge the existence of groups for research and cultural purposes, but do not see group struggles as natural laws, for the Left the struggle between groups is the sole indicator of progress or merit, and is the only way to assess progress. Hence, Power, and or the violence, which is used to achieve it, are key indicators almost a GPS, to measure the level of progress.

Therefore, in their eyes, it is realistic and naturally logical and expected to celebrate the death of those they perceive as leaders of opposing groups.

Given that this war against the enemies of "good" and "justice" is uncompromising, there arises a need to produce a constant labeling and characterizing of moderates as enemies, as a tactic to perpetuate struggle.

In essence, like in the case of antisemitism, so is with the hatred of moderates or conservatives, the left must always generate some form of escalation given the mostly docile state of man. It does so by creating a very negative portrait of its enemies which is essential to its ability to signal to followers that they naturally should rejoice in their enemies’ downfall, for it is obviously one of the only ‘genuine’ proofs of progress in their imaginative struggle.

Within such a zero-sum framework, the downfall of the external enemy is more vital than one’s own success, because personal success is never truly focused on the happiness of individuals, but mainly on self-image or the image projected to others as groups fighting for causes.

This is why many on the left could not restrain themselves. They are already deeply infected by the virus that dictates the need to celebrate the downfall of others within the very society they live In, hence what for normal people would seem the most pathological and violent way, is to them only an inevitable confirmation of their success at justice.

The same was true with the celebration of October 7. The same is true with other celebrations of BLM riots. The left is bound to a mechanism of violence to validate itself. There is no way around, therefore, it is inevitable that it will celebrate whenever such violence grants it an illusory victory.
