A new investigation alleges that over $100 billion in "undocumented funds" have been funneled from Qatar to American universities as part of an effort to advance the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood. The claims were made by investigator Charles Small, who detailed specific financial figures and academic programs he believes are influenced by the funding.

Small’s investigation reportedly uncovered what he calls a financial pipeline that has been deliberately obscured. According to his findings, Qatar has supplied vast sums to prominent U.S. institutions, including $10 billion to Cornell University and $1.3 billion to Texas A&M.

Allegations Against Brown University Program

A central focus of Small’s allegations is the "Choices Program" at Brown University, which he claims received a billion dollars in Qatari funding. Small asserts that the program, led by Professor Omer Bartov, a scholar of genocide, is creating curriculum materials used in more than 8,000 schools across the country.

Small alleges that these educational materials “erase minorities from the Middle East, erase the Jewish presence from the Middle East, and erase the Christian presence from the Middle East.” He further claims the curriculum indoctrinates children with “antisemitic, anti-Christian, anti-democratic ideas.”

Broader Ideological Claims

In his report, Small drew a direct link between the alleged funding and what he described as a Muslim Brotherhood ideology, which he claims is a core tenet of the Qatari regime. He stated this ideology

Small also invoked the figure of Yosef Qaradawi, whom he identified as the former spiritual head of the Muslim Brotherhood "seeks to replace and destroy democracy." According to Small, Qaradawi "preached that the true believer, the true Muslim, is obligated to complete the work of Hitler." He further claimed that Qaradawi was welcomed by the British establishment and helped establish Islamic studies programs at Oxford University.
