BREAKING: FBI Provides Update on Charlie Kirk's Murderer: "We have a clear picture"
The FBI has released new details on the investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination, revealing that authorities have successfully tracked the shooter's movements. Investigators have video footage showing the individual moving across campus and onto a rooftop, before fleeing by jumping from the building after the attack.

The FBI today provided new details on the investigation into the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, confirming that investigators have successfully tracked the shooter's movements before and after the attack.
In a statement to the media, an FBI representative said that law enforcement has a clear timeline of the subject's actions, which began with their arrival on campus at 11:52 a.m. The shooter was tracked from a location near the campus, through stairwells, up to a rooftop, and to the specific shooting location.
Following the shooting, investigators traced the individual's movements as they fled to the other side of the building, jumped off, and escaped into a nearby neighborhood. Authorities have since been working with residents, reviewing doorbell camera footage, and interviewing witnesses to gather leads.
The FBI representative confirmed that investigators have "good video footage of this individual" but stated that the footage will not be released at this time. The agency is currently employing various technologies to identify the suspect. If these efforts are unsuccessful, the FBI said it will release the video publicly to solicit help from the public.
"We are confident in our abilities right now, and we would like to move forward in a manner that keeps everyone safe and moves this process appropriately," the official said.
According to Belaaz, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) allegedly recovered an older model imported Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt-action rifle, wrapped in a towel, in a wooded area near the campus, consistent with the suspect’s escape route. They also recovered one spent cartridge and three unspent rounds, reportedly engraved with transgender and anti-fascist ideology, according to the ATF email screenshot.
In addition, authorities in Utah said the individual behind the attempted assassination has been identified as being of college age and “embedded” within the student population.
