Javier Milei Unveils “Isaac Accords” – Latin America’s New Alliance With Israel
Argentine President Javier Milei channels his $1 million Genesis Prize into a groundbreaking alliance, bringing Israel closer to Latin America through the newly launched Isaac Accords.

In a bold diplomatic move underscoring his unwavering support for Israel, Argentine President Javier Milei has announced the launch of the Isaac Accords – a visionary initiative aimed at boosting cooperation between Israel and Latin American nations.
The program will initially bring together Israel, Uruguay, Panama, and Costa Rica, with plans to expand in 2026 to include Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and potentially El Salvador. The focus will be on advancing joint projects in economy, security, education, and technology, while deepening diplomatic and cultural ties.
Inspired by the Abraham Accords
Modeled after the historic 2020 Abraham Accords between Israel and several Arab states, the Isaac Accords aim to replicate that spirit of strategic partnership in Latin America. According to Milei, the initiative reflects his belief in “real alliances built on shared values, mutual respect, and concrete action.”
Funding From the Genesis Prize
Milei is channeling the $1 million Genesis Prize he was awarded in June 2025 – given in recognition of his steadfast defense of Israel and democratic values – directly into funding the Isaac Accords. “This is not just about words; it’s about putting resources into action to build a future where Israel and Latin America stand together,” Milei declared.
Launch of AFOIA
The project will be spearheaded by a new non-profit organization, American Friends of the Isaac Accords (AFOIA), which will work to foster economic, security, and cultural collaboration between Israel and the region, while also combating antisemitism and countering extremist ideologies.
A Rare Ally in Challenging Times
Milei’s initiative comes at a time when Israel is facing mounting international criticism over its operations in Gaza. Yet, unlike many world leaders, Milei has consistently stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Jerusalem, earning him the reputation of being one of Israel’s strongest allies on the global stage.
JFeed Analysis: Milei’s decision to invest his own international prize money into strengthening Israel’s position in Latin America is a remarkable show of loyalty and conviction. At a moment when diplomatic courage is rare, the Isaac Accords represent not only a strategic win for Israel, but also a powerful reminder that leadership means standing up for one’s friends – even under pressure.
