President Trump Honors Jewish Advocacy Group With Stunning Letter
President Trump sent a letter of high praise to the Tzedek Association, lauding its humanitarian and advocacy work at a Washington, D.C. gala. The event highlighted Tzedek’s mission and its alignment with American values, energizing supporters for future initiatives.

At a vibrant gathering held at the Library of Congress on August 12, 2025, the Jewish advocacy organization Tzedek was honored with a glowing letter from President Donald Trump, marking a significant moment of recognition for its humanitarian efforts. The event drew 200 supporters and fundraisers from Jewish communities in Monsey, Brooklyn, and Lakewood, celebrating Tzedek’s diverse initiatives, which span fertility assistance, prisoners’ rights, and criminal justice reform. The letter, presented by Martin Marks, a Jewish liaison for the Trump Administration, was addressed to Tzedek’s leader, Rabbi Moshe Margaretten, and underscored the organization’s alignment with core American values.
In his message, President Trump expressed deep appreciation, stating, “Melania and I send our warmest greetings to you and the entire Tzedek Association and express our thanks for your incredible contributions to the many causes you champion. Your passion and your dedication to the foundational American values of fairness, dignity, and justice for all represent the very best of your community and our Nation.” He specifically praised Tzedek’s work with vulnerable populations, noting, “You stand with the most vulnerable, helping incarcerated individuals rebuild their lives and advocating for meaningful criminal justice reform. In times of crisis, you respond with urgency, most recently exemplified by your humanitarian aid and life-saving assistance across the world. Your work continues to provide hope and opportunity for countless individuals.”
The gala’s significance was amplified by the presence of notable figures, including Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and Dr. Mehmet Oz. Trump also acknowledged Tzedek’s supporters, saying, “I also want to extend my gratitude to all of the Tzedek Association’s volunteers, advocates, and supporters. Your dedication to the causes of faith, freedom, family, redemption, and giving a voice to the voiceless is an inspiration to countless Americans.” He concluded with an optimistic vision, declaring, “With your support, we are ushering in a new Golden Age for all Americans. Your continued advocacy, passion, and faith in the Almighty are illuminating the path forward for our beloved Nation. I am deeply proud of what we have accomplished together, and I look forward to seeing what you achieve in the years to come.”
Tzedek’s advocacy, particularly its efforts in criminal justice reform and recent executive order on IVF access, aligns with Trump’s policy priorities, as seen in his February 2025 executive order praised by Rabbi Margaretten. The letter’s presentation galvanized Tzedek’s supporters, reinforcing their commitment to national-level advocacy amid a politically charged climate.
