The White House is expected to soon present Russian President Vladimir Putin with a comprehensive plan to end the war in Ukraine. The inspiration for this plan? Israel's control model in Judea and Samaria.

According to a report, American special envoy Steve Witkoff expressed support for a proposal being discussed between Washington and Moscow, whereby Russia would continue to maintain military and economic control in the territories it conquered in Ukraine, but without carrying out official annexation.

According to the outline, Ukraine's official borders would remain as they were "on paper," and this arrangement would bypass Ukrainian law that prohibits giving up territories.

The report has sparked political and media uproar: opponents of the idea claim that this essentially amounts to legitimizing the Russian occupation and making it a permanent reality, while supporters present it as a realistic compromise that could put an end to the bloody war.

Neither the White House nor the Kremlin have issued responses on the matter so far, while Ukrainian authorities are also maintaining silence for now.

President Trump has issued many warnings to Putin that he would face serious consequences if he did not come to the negotiating table and agree to something Ukrainians, Europeans, and the US can accept, but thus far he has balked, and Trump has often simply moved the deadline.

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues, with the Russian Army continuing to try and force breakthroughs and the Ukrainian Army trying to contain or destroy the advance forces in their territory.
