Iran Launches Fifth Missile Barrage at Israel This Morning
Is This a One-Sided Ceasefire? Since 03:50 AM, the IDF Has Reportedly Not Struck in Iran, According to Iranian Sources.
Since 5:15 AM this morning, over the course of the past hour and fifteen minutes, Iran has launched five separate missile barrages toward Israeli territory.
A direct hit was reported in Be’er Sheva, striking a seven-story residential building. Three people were killed in the strike, and the building sustained significant damage. Simultaneously, additional impacts were recorded in Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv metropolitan area (Gush Dan).
According to reports, both Iran and Israel have accepted the terms of a ceasefire agreement. However, the ceasefire is not scheduled to officially take effect until 7:00 AM Israel time. It appears that Israel was caught off guard by this final, aggressive barrage.
Additional reports suggest tensions within Iran’s leadership, specifically between the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the political echelon, over the ceasefire decision. While Israel’s government quickly approved the truce, implementation on the Iranian side appears to have taken longer due to internal disputes.
