Tucker Carlson Reveals Exclusive Interview With Iran’s President
The former Fox News host says Americans deserve to hear directly from adversaries following military clashes. Pezeshkian addresses Iran’s goals and future stance toward the U.S. and Israel.

In a move following recent military tensions, political commentator Tucker Carlson announced that he has conducted an exclusive interview with Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran.
The announcement came via a video posted on Carlson’s social media, where he addressed the timing and purpose behind the interview. Pezeshkian’s election followed the untimely death of former Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi. The 70-year-old heart surgeon now leads the Islamic Republic during a volatile moment in his nation's history.
Carlson emphasized that, despite potential criticism, the decision to speak directly with a foreign adversary stemmed from a commitment to transparency and public understanding, particularly given that the U.S. and Iran had engaged in a brief military exchange less than two weeks earlier.
“We just wrapped up an interview with Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran,” Carlson said. “People will say we shouldn’t have done it. But we just had a military confrontation with Iran 10 days ago - and may be headed for another. The American public deserves to hear from both sides.”
Carlson acknowledged that viewers may question the Iranian president’s credibility but stressed the importance of allowing people to draw their own conclusions.
“Is everything he says true? Probably not,” Carlson said. “But the point is, you should be the one to decide that — not the government, not the media. You.”
The interview reportedly avoids highly sensitive questions, such as whether U.S. airstrikes damaged Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, on the grounds that the answers would likely be speculative or unverifiable.
Instead, the discussion centers around Iran’s long-term strategic objectives and its posture toward the U.S. and Israel.
Carlson also disclosed that he has requested an interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, expressing hope that the Israeli leader will agree to speak on record in the near future.
The full interview with Pezeshkian is available on Carlson’s independent media platform.
