A grieving Jewish father in Georgia, whose daughter was killed in a terrorist attack in Jerusalem, faced a vicious antisemitic assault from neighbors who displayed signs emblazoned with the slur “kike” and accused his daughter of “murdering” Palestinians.

David Lubin, whose daughter, Sgt. Rose Lubin, a 20-year-old lone soldier in Israel’s Border Police, was stabbed to death in November 2023, confronted the couple after they covered their yard with offensive signs, sparking outrage in the local Jewish community and beyond.

The incident, captured on video and shared by Lubin on Facebook today (Monday), shows him challenging his neighbors over a sign featuring the word “kike” 21 times alongside calls to “stop war crimes.” “Is it okay that my daughter was murdered?” Lubin asked.

The neighbors responded, “She wore an IDF uniform, she went there to murder.” Correcting them, Lubin noted Rose was a police officer, not a soldier, but the woman insisted, “I saw her picture in uniform.”

The man added, “How many Palestinians die there every day?” Lubin, visibly shaken, called them “the most disgusting people I’ve ever seen.”Rose Lubin, a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen, was killed by a 16-year-old Palestinian attacker near Jerusalem’s Old City.
