Dramatic Breakthrough in Hostage Release Deal

Against the backdrop of the Qatari proposal for a framework to end the war in Gaza and release hostages, News 12 journalist Yaron Avraham reports this evening that there is progress in contacts following Israel's flexibility on several clauses.

According to the report, "There is progress in hostage deal contacts, and formulations that seemed impossible are back on the table." Avraham noted that "currently the main flexibility is from Israel's side." It was also reported that following the progress, Israel is holding feverish discussions at this time in order to close a deal in the coming days.
