BREAKING! Charlie Kirk dies after being shot in the neck
Charlie Kirk, the prominent American right-wing figure and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot live on air in Utah. The shocking incident occurred while Kirk was broadcasting.
In an event being described as an assassination attempt and a terror incident, reports from the United States indicate that prominent conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot during a Q&A session at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
Kirk, a vocal supporter of both the Trump administration and Israel, was a strong advocate for Israel in numerous public debates.
He was shot while talking at a “Prove Me Wrong” discussion under a large outdoor tent. A large crowd had gathered to listen to him. Moments before the shooting, he threw caps to fans in the audience.
Apparently, he was shot while talking about transgender shooters. He was shot by a rifle from 200 yards (200m), according to the Spokeswoman for Utah Valley University.
Footage shows bystanders fleeing the scene.

The campus is under lockdown.
A suspect is in custody.
The New York Times says that the person who was arrested for the assassination attempt is not the shooter.
In an unprecedented move, U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly signed an immediate order for the execution of the individual who shot Charlie Kirk in Utah. According to initial reports from sources within the White House, the order explicitly states there will be no possibility of pardon or appeal.
The move is being described as highly unusual, as capital punishment typically requires a lengthy legal process. White House sources added that the order was signed "due to serious security and public considerations," and that it represents a "final decision by the President, not subject to appeal or change."
UPDATE: According to BBC, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins has posted on social media that Charlie Kirk is "still with us".
"PLEASE KEEP PRAYING. Hearing he is in critical condition but still with us," she posted on X.
While Glenn Beck days that Kirk is now stable, chief marketing officer Marina Minas told the BBC's US partner CBS News that "he was shot in the neck. He’s at the hospital. It doesn’t look good."
According to Belaaz, a Trump official currently at the hospital noted that Secret Service is present at the hospital. The official added, “He lost a lot of blood, I don’t know how he can survive this…”
A spokesman for the University of Utah claims that Kirk has been taken to the operating room for emergency surgery and is being secured by private security.
Hundreds of thousands of people are praying for Charlie this evening.
According to the Utah House Speaker, Mike Schultz, Charlie Kirk has been pronounced dead.
