An Israeli mother’s furious social media post has sparked widespread outrage after she revealed that her young son was tied to a chair and had his mouth taped shut by a clown during a social activity at a kindergarten. The incident, which occurred last week, was photographed by the kindergarten teacher and shared in the group’s chat, prompting the mother to file a police complaint against the facility.

In her emotional post, the mother described the harrowing experience: “My son came back from kindergarten last week after they had activities with a ‘nice’ clown who decided to tie my son to a chair. Ask me why, I don’t have an answer.” She noted that the teacher captured the moment and sent the photo to the kindergarten’s group chat alongside other activity pictures, as if it were “normal.” After the mother’s strong objection, the teacher deleted the images “so she wouldn’t feel uncomfortable,” the mother recounted.

The mother emphasized that her son was singled out, stating, “This only happened to him,” and clarified that it was not part of a group activity. The teacher claimed it was “a joke,” explaining that the clown said, “Since the boy kept getting up from his chair, for ‘fun,’ we’ll tie him to the chair, take a picture for his mom, and say we finally managed to keep him seated.” The kindergarten’s management downplayed the incident, with the director claiming it lasted “only a second” and the supervisor calling it “an unsuccessful joke” and a “mistake.”

“I screamed at the teacher, the director, and the supervisor, and they’re all covering for each other,” the distraught mother wrote. “My heart is broken, and my tears haven’t stopped flowing. I can’t recover from that image.” The incident has raised serious concerns about child safety in educational settings and the accountability of staff, with the police now investigating the matter.
