JD Vance: These are the US Goals in the Gaza War
US Vice President J.D. Vance addressed this evening in an interview with Fox News the state of the war in Gaza, and seemed to take a position very similar to the Israeli one.

US Vice President J.D. Vance addressed this evening (Sunday) in an interview with Fox News the state of the war in Gaza.
According to him, the American administration is focusing its efforts on three main objectives in the war in Israel. "At the bottom line, from the American perspective, we are trying to achieve three things: First, we want to prevent a situation where Hamas can kill innocent people - Israelis, Americans, or any other person. Second, we want the hostages to return home. And third, the President has been very clear that there is a humanitarian crisis there, where there are many innocent people suffering greatly," Vance said.
In his remarks, the Vice President emphasized the American approach to the war in Gaza, which must ensure that Hamas can no longer be a harmful factor.
He emphasized that alongside the military fight against terror, Washington is working to ensure aid to the civilian population in the Strip. "We want to make sure that Gaza residents can receive food, medicine, and other essential items. Therefore, we are trying to achieve these three things," he added.
Vance repeated the President's words acknowledging that there is a humanitarian crisis in Gaza and therefore the US is acting on the matter.
According to him, the President sees himself as a leader working for peace. "The President said he wants to be a president of peace again. He is encouraging by every possible diplomatic means to end the conflict quickly, bring the hostages home, and allow Gaza residents free flow of humanitarian aid," he noted.
Vance concluded that the United States is working with its regional partners with the goal of realizing the objectives set by the administration. "That is our goal, and we will continue to work with our allies in the region to make this happen," he said.
