Mosab Hassan Yousef, the famous “Son of Hamas” who defected from the terror group and exposed its inner workings, set off a firestorm today with a blistering statement on X. His message: the Palestinian national myth is dead, and Gaza’s only future lies outside Gaza itself.

“Hamas and Palestinians are one,” Yousef wrote. “Trapped in an Arab culture of rejectionism and indoctrination that cannot coexist with Israel’s democratic values.”

Rabin betrayed, Oslo destroyed

In his post, Yousef contrasted the legacy of Israel’s late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who risked his life for peace through the Oslo Accords, with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, whom he accused of betraying that vision.

“Rabin gave his life, assassinated for peace. Arafat betrayed that vision, doubled down on terrorism, and sacrificed his people for power and status,” Yousef wrote.

The collapse of Oslo, he argued, taught Israel the painful truth: “coexistence with such a destructive mentality is impossible.”

Gaza must go

Yousef declared Gaza’s destruction since October 7 was proof that Palestinian choices lead only to ruin. His prescription: relocation and compensation.

Gazans, he said, should be integrated into countries like Egypt, Syria, or Jordan, where their “values fit.”

Palestinians in judea and Samaria must “abandon their false identity and violence, or face Gaza’s fate.”

He concluded with a stark warning:

“The so-called Palestinian cause, built on lies and aggression, cannot stand against universal justice. History demands separation. Wake up, or be left behind.”
