While greeting well-wishers in Newmarket, Suffolk, alongside Queen Camilla, the 76-year-old monarch was asked by member of the public Lee Harman how he was feeling. Charles, who has been undergoing treatment since his cancer diagnosis last year, responded with five simple words: "Just one of those things."
Harman, 54, who himself is in remission from cancer, shared more about their exchange: “He told me he was feeling a lot better now. Then he asked how I was, and I told him I got the all clear last year.”
This moment marks one of several rare personal updates from the King regarding his health. Back in May, during a visit to Impact Hub Yorkshire, he candidly shared with a local business owner, “I’d like to think I’m on the better side” of the cancer journey.
Despite his treatment, Charles has remained active in public life, with sources suggesting that staying involved in royal duties continues to uplift his spirits.
