Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has offered rare personal insights into her relationship with Prince Harry and her years in Britain, as part of the second season of her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan.

The new season, released Tuesday, features Meghan in conversation with celebrity friends and guests over cooking, crafts, and candid storytelling.

Falling for Harry in Botswana

In one of the most intimate moments, Meghan recalled the couple’s early days together. Asked by Queer Eye host Tan France when she realized she loved Harry, she said it was during their third date, a five-day camping trip in Botswana.

“You really get to know someone when you’re in a little tent together,” she laughed, recalling elephants circling outside. She also revealed that Harry was the first to say, “I love you.”

Family Life in California

The Sussexes, who married in 2018 and stepped back from royal duties in 2020, now live in Montecito with their two children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4. On the show, Meghan described Archie as “the most tender, sweet, adorable child of all time” and noted Lilibet’s love of pink. “I always wanted to be a mom,” she said. “It’s even better than I expected.”

Small Details and Big Laughs

The series also reveals lighter sides of their marriage. In one episode, Meghan teased that Harry dislikes lobster, prompting chef José Andrés to joke, “And you married him?”

Meghan also shared a nostalgic memory from her acting career, confessing she once celebrated successful auditions with McDonald’s apple pie, and that nerves forced her to audition in turtlenecks to hide blotches on her chest.

What She Misses Most

Despite building a new life in California, Meghan admitted there are things she misses about the UK. “Honestly, one of the things I miss most is a radio station called Magic,” she said with a smile.
