Last night at Binyanei HaUma in Jerusalem, widow and newly engaged Rachel Goldberg took the stage during an event marking the 90th anniversary of Rabbi Kook’s passing, performing on the violin to enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The celebration, organized by the Religious Zionist Movement, coincided with Gimmel Tammuz and included performances by notable singers such as Yishai Ribo, Avraham Fried, Bini Landau, Shmuel, and others. During Jonathan Razel’s singing, Goldberg, a talented and well-known violinist, played to the crowd’s cheers and was warmly applauded after finishing her performance.
A few days ago, Srugim reported that Rachel Goldberg, widow of Rabbi Avi Goldberg, who fell in combat in Lebanon, announced her engagement.
The event in Jerusalem, supported by the city municipality and the Religious Zionist Party, celebrated both the memory of Rabbi Kook and the musical talents of Goldberg, highlighting a moment of joy and remembrance.
