On July 23, 2025, a fiery episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored saw Ana Kasparian, co-host of The Young Turks, unleash a heated tirade during a debate on the Gaza conflict, clashing with pro-Israel activist Shabbos Kestenbaum, who remained strikingly calm.

The panel, which also included Israeli journalist Gideon Levy and comedian Dave Smith, tackled Israel’s military actions in Gaza and the Druze situation in Syria. Kasparian, known for her progressive stance, accused Israel of committing genocide, shouting, “I’m not gonna let you filibuster, b*tch!” at Kestenbaum while criticizing his defense of Israel’s actions. Her outburst, marked by personal insults, drew widespread attention, with clips going viral on X and state media like RT amplifying the moment.

Kestenbaum, a 25-year-old Harvard Divinity School graduate and PragerU commentator, maintained his composure, advocating for Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas. He later took to X, calling out Kasparian for violating “constructive debate and dialogue” and proposing a long-form interview to Piers Morgan to discuss his position calmly.

His cool-headedness earned praise from some viewers, with posts on X contrasting his restraint with Kasparian’s volatility. Critics, however, accused Kasparian of oversimplifying the conflict and ignoring Hamas’s role, while supporters lauded her passion for highlighting Gaza’s humanitarian toll. The debate also touched on U.S. involvement, with Kasparian arguing America’s armed forces shouldn’t die for Israel, a point she’s made in prior appearances, including a June 14, 2025, episode where she clashed with pro-Israel panelist Emily Schrader.

This latest clash, however, stood out for its intensity, with Morgan struggling to moderate as Kasparian’s rhetoric escalated. Users pointed to her complete lack of composure, dismissed her as a “neurotic, chaotic lunatic” and questioned the panel’s balance.

Kestenbaum, who sued Harvard in 2024 over campus antisemitism, has emerged as a prominent Jewish activist, recently settling his lawsuit confidentially. His measured demeanor on Morgan’s show aligns with his public persona as a disciplined advocate. Kasparian, meanwhile, faced backlash from some in the Armenian community for her association with The Young Turks, a name tied to the Armenian Genocide, adding another layer of controversy to her heated performance.
