Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was warned months before his death that he was in "grave danger" of assassination, but the chilling advice from a security expert went unheeded, leading to his fatal shooting, according to Deccan Herald News.

Kris Herzog, a security expert and owner of the Bodyguard Group of Beverly Hills, met the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder during an event at California State University on March 6. Herzog, whose firm specializes in protecting high-profile individuals, issued a stark warning to Kirk, stating there was a “100 per cent chance” he would be targeted if he continued speaking at university campuses without enhanced security measures, as reported by The Mirror.

Herzog’s team assessed Kirk’s existing security setup and found it “not even close” to adequate. He recommended bulletproof glass panels and metal detectors covering a perimeter of at least 700 meters to screen attendees, emphasizing that a sniper could target Kirk’s head, making ballistic glass protection critical.

Despite the explicit warning, no significant changes were made to Kirk’s security protocols.

Tragically, he was shot in the neck last week and died shortly after, leaving Americans both shocked and grieving his loss.
